Hope you all are doing well and staying healthy through this crazy time!
Since it will be a few weeks until I will be allowed back at the salon, I thought I would do my best to help you in your homes with hair, makeup, and education! This is definitely a scary time, especially for small business owners, but I am trying to stay optimistic and just keep pushing forward! We can sell product and gift cards (for future use), so if you are in need of any product or want to try out anything new please let us know! We would love to help you out!
The first product I am excited to recommend is something I find essential; Dry Shampoo, because let’s be honest who is ACTUALLY washing their hair everyday during this quarantine? I know I’m not and frankly the oils that your scalp produces naturally are good for your hair, so encourage it an extra day or two!
A couple dry shampoos that are my favorites are:
1. Amika “Perk Up” dry shampoo: This dry shampoo is made with natural rise starch and helps to absorbs the oils in your hair without leaving that gross white residue. BONUS it smells AMAZING!
2. Amika “Phantom” hydrating dry shampoo foam: This product I absolutely love after a good workout or if my hair has been feeling extra dry. Its also recommended for people with curly hair!
3. IGK: IGK has THREE levels of dry shampoo: Deep cleanse, Medium cleanse, and light cleanse. All three smell different and amazing.
4. Kenra Platinum dry shampoo: Now Kenra has been around a long time, so I don’t think I need to tell you how great their products are or how fun the smell is! Usually when I use their products, I don’t always put perfume on because my hair smells so amazing!
All of these listed products can be purchased through the salon!
Extra tip: I also use dry shampoo as a “texture spray” to help give my hair extra body and grip even if it isn’t dirty! If you have any questions, please let me know!
